Chassis Racing doesn't track you. The game and this website have no ads, no analytics and no third-party trackers, and we never sell your data.
This website
- Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the date you joined and the country your request came from. We use it only to send Chassis Racing news (launch, beta and early-access invites). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
- Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and block attacks. We don't use cookies.
- Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts download.
The Chassis Racing app
- Your garage, cash and progress are saved on your device (and in your device backups).
- To keep play fair, your profile (garage, cash, progress and the inputs of races you run) is also kept on the Chassis Racing server under a random account ID created for your install. If you sign in with Apple, that account is linked to an anonymous ID from Apple so it can follow you to other devices. We don't ask for your name or email. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Account in the app.
- If you choose a username, it's public: other players see it on your ghosts, marketplace listings and Chassis profile. Until then you appear as a generated name such as "Racer 1A2B".
- Ranked races you run are kept on the server (up to your 30 most recent) so other players can race them as ghosts.
- Online play uses Apple Game Center. If you sign in, your Game Center nickname, race times and ranked rating appear on Game Center leaderboards.
- If "Share my runs as ghosts" is on (Settings → Online), your best runs are stored in Apple's iCloud public database so other players can race them: your Game Center nickname, a game-specific player ID, your car's build and paint, and your race inputs and time. You can turn it off and delete everything you've shared at any time.
- Purchases are made through Apple. The server keeps a record of what you bought (product and Apple transaction ID) so it's credited to your account once and restored on new devices. We never see your payment details.
- Market: when you list a car, other players see the car, its upgrades, race record and your username. The server keeps a record of every trade (car, price, buyer, seller and time) to prevent fraud and settle disputes.
- Reports you send (who or what you reported, the reason and your note) are kept so moderators can review them.
- Challenge links you share contain your username, car and the inputs of that run, so friends can race it.
- Crash and performance reports from iOS (Apple MetricKit) are sent to our server without your account ID, to fix bugs.
You can erase all game data on your device from Settings → Progress → Reset progress in the app, or by deleting the app.
Children
Chassis Racing isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we'll delete it.
